Plum Beauty Repack
In December 2024, Plum Beauty underwent a remarkable transformation as I successfully implemented new packaging for over 35 SKUs in just two weeks. I played a pivotal role in the branding conception and executed the entire packaging repack, which included updates to the instruction manuals.

Initial Moodboarding
Before reaching out to an agency to assist with our design needs to meet our timeline, I was responsible for creating three mood boards for internal selection. This allowed us to align on a starting point. The design that resonated most with the stakeholders featured a light purple branding complemented by flowing marbling colors. I also created packaging renders using existing products to quickly convey the envisioned look.

A Drastic Shift
I collaborated closely with the agency to develop a visually striking design that stands out on shelves while ensuring compliance with legal guidelines to avoid infringing on a similarly named competitor. The result is a front-of-pack design featuring a bold logo and engaging copy, reflecting a youthful brand identity rather than the clinical image it previously had.

Working with the Agency
We directed the agency to create three distinct packaging designs that align our preferred branding, ensuring a consistent visual identity across all product packaging. The blister card design, shown in the image above, presented unique challenges due to its limited space. We collaborated closely with the agency to refine the designs until we achieved satisfaction with each template, ensuring that all stakeholders approved every panel.

Implementation
I was responsible for changing the packaging for over 35 SKUs and the associated IMs. To ensure I met production deadlines, I created a detailed chart and schedule. My organizational skills enabled me to successfully repackage and deliver production-ready packages and IMs within the required timeframe. For instance, I developed a chart that consolidated all icons used on the back of the packaging, streamlining the callouts to minimize redundancy and enhance clarity.

Product Trays
Most of the packages, which were not boxes, required product display trays for Walmart shelves. For these displays, we aimed to highlight the engaging slogan and product name, along with a concise reason for using the product to enhance skin health. The color blocking on the front aligns with the packaging, excluding the marble design, as team agreed it could distract from the essential information and product packaging.

Small Displays
For our small display trays featuring multiple products, we employ color blocking based on the hues found within our marble design. Given that much of our packaging, including boxes and poly bags, is light purple, the marble pattern serves to attract customer attention and enhance visual appeal. Additionally, we extend the marble design to the back of the trays, allowing the light purple to stand out effectively. This approach ensures that as products are purchased from the display, the design remains eye-catching.

Large Displays
For our large displays, we utilize a dark purple for the shelves to create a striking contrast with the light purple, ensuring that marketing statement is easily readable. The top and bottom sections feature a marble design to attract attention, as the logo stands out effectively against the marble backdrop. We exclusively use text on light purple and dark purple, as no other colors provide sufficient legibility on the marble surface.
