Our agency presented us with two variations of artwork featuring a significant of chrome. Unfortunately, the graphics team was not included in the initial meeting with the agency, which limited our ability to provide input. As a result, the final outcomes did not meet the expectations of the cosmopolitan team.

Beacon emphasized that a foil design would effectively draw attention to the shelf, a notion I fully support. For 1, I implemented a full foil design to enhance its visual appeal. We aimed to present the sexual products as elegant shapes, abstracting their form to maintain a classy aesthetic. The product scale was increased, with elements cascading from the bottom, as the power button and bases are not the points. Additionally, we incorporated a tagline centrally to align with their editorial approach, while ensuring the top section is organized for easy readability.

For my second design option, I strategically minimized the foil accents to create meaningful highlights against a dark purple background. Cosmopolitan expressed concerns that the agency's initial artwork lacked a sense allure; therefore, the moody background paired with a soft-touch finish introduces the desired sexy appeal. This design is, effectively accommodating both wide and tall while also being adaptable for more discreet items. Additionally, the product images feature a gloss coat to enhance the packaging further, allowing the product to take center stage and pique brand curiosity.

The top panel serves as a mini front display, designed for retailers, particularly specialty stores, that prefer to showcase products with the top-facing outward for better visibility. The left side features a vibrant purple foil, complemented by bold callouts that highlight the key features and selling points. In response to Cosmo's request for a prominent logo panel, we have positioned their logo and slogan on the right side. The back panel emphasizes empowering users to engage with the products, presenting usage guidelines and benefits in an organized manner, while the bottom includes social media links and essential legal information.

The instruction manual is crafted to provide a straightforward reading experience, effectively conveying essential information to the customer. The front panel is designed to match the packaging for a cohesive look. Upon opening the manual, customers will find numerous images highlighting features and charging instructions. The back panel contains more detailed information, such as charging times and cleaning guidelines, presented in an organized manner to ensure ease of reading.

To create a striking contrast with the dark purple, we incorporate light purple to capture our customers' attention, and allowing the name "Cosmopolitan" to attract interest. Our design features a clean layout with distinct callouts for each product displayed on the shelf.

I was assigned the creation of a PR box for our new lipstick product. The team had already developed a style box that resembled a book. As a fan of romance, I recognized the current trend of high-end romance book aesthetics and merged this with the branding. To enhance the design, I incorporated an illustration of the lipstick amidst floral swirls, further connecting it to the product while adding a feminine touch. The result a stunning PR box that influencers will love to showcase and react to.
